London Stationery Show: Lamy reports increasing UK sales

Jan Kohne, Director Sales Europe from fine writing company Lamy, told The Office Times that he doesn’t expect Brexit to change the UK’s positions as Lamy’s first key market outside of Germany.

Lamy has made some price adjustments following changes in exchange rates after the Brexit vote last year, but sales are still strong, especially in the school and lifestyles markets. Lamy has focused on point of sale and highlighting the desirability of its writing instruments by giving customers the chance to try them before purchase.
