Amazon is looking at introducing cashier-free grocery stores into Europe, according to press reports.
Amazon has filed several trademark applications related to its Go stores with the UK’s Intellectual Property Office and its European Union equivalent.
Last week, the U.K. Intellectual Property Office approved the company’s application to trademark the slogans “No Lines. No Checkout. (No, Seriously.)” and “No Queue. No Checkout. (No, Seriously.)”
According to Bloomberg Technology, a corresponding application is being reviewed by the European Union.
