Spicers Alliance Programme Entered for 'Initiative of the Year' at the 2017 BOSS Industry Awards

Spicers has entered the 2017 BOSS Industry Awards in the category of Initiative of the Year. Spicers’ submission describes how its Alliance Programme is helping to future proof dealers’ businesses in today’s increasingly competitive marketplace. To date, Spicers say members of the loyalty Programme have achieved average operational savings of 20%.

The BOSS Industry Awards

Open to any individual or company in the business products and services industry, the BOSS Industry Awards were established to recognise and reward excellence within the industry.

The Initiative of the Year category recognises initiatives or innovations that have made an impact at an individual, team, company or industry level.

The Impact of the Alliance Programme

Spicers’ entry describes how the Alliance Programme is helping to secure the longevity of dealers in a market which is now being targeted by competitive online retailers. In this way, it is also future-proofing the channel.

Under the Programme, dealers can outsource key activities to Spicers to boost sales or strip away unwanted costs – enhancing the dealer’s overall profitability. For example, dealers can release their logistics overheads by outsourcing their entire stockholding and logistics to Spicers’ nationwide distribution and OfficeFleet vehicle network. Meanwhile, sales growth can be driven by outsourcing marketing activities to Spicers’ central marketing team who develop and execute impactful end user campaigns on behalf of Alliance members.

Outsourced logistics and marketing are just two of the nine pillars of support available to dealers on the Programme.
