The 18th edition of the Hong Kong International Stationery Fair will take place from 8 – 11 January 2018 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Thanks to the prosperous market outlook, the fair will gather approximately 260 exhibitors from 15 countries and regions. These include Bangladesh, the Chinese mainland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, the Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand, the US and Vietnam. With such an international line-up, the four-day fair is expected to attract more than 20,000 trade visitors.
The stationery industry is currently enjoying abundant business opportunities from the continuous growth of the Asian market in recent years. According to data shared by Statista, a leading statistics company, the revenue for Asia’s “Hobby and Stationery” segment will reach USD60 billion by the end of 2017, with an annual growth rate of 12.5% between 2017 and 2022.
Ms Judy Cheung, Deputy General Manager of Messe Frankfurt (Shanghai) Co Ltd said: “In line with the growing stationery market and industry support, the 2018 fair has converged a strong range of industry heavyweights and young brands, including M&G, KOKUYO, INOZTO, 3+Mags, O-Life, Alpha, Kiky, Chinjoo, EGGMAN and others. In fact, this year’s show has expanded to the concourse area to accommodate all of our exhibitors. We are confident that we will have another successful edition.”
Being one of the most prestigious trade events in Asia, the Hong Kong International Stationery Fair 2018 will welcome the return of Korean and Taiwanese pavilions, each with a bigger exhibition space compared to the previous edition. They will showcase a comprehensive range of creative products and demonstrate the unique strengths of their respective regions.
