ADVEO to close its warehouse in Winkelhaid

ADVEO has decided to close its warehouse in Winkelhaid (Germany) once the negotiations between the company and the local employee representative (works council and trade union) have taken place.

This decision is part of efficiency improvements from the wholesaler’s Strategic Plan 2017-2020 that aims at transforming ADVEO into the European Platform for Workspace Solutions.

ADVEO says that the process is justified by economical, productive and organizational factors and is  scheduled no later than April 20th. It will mean the loss of around 50 jobs based on an agreed social plan in order to adapt the staff to the business needs in Germany.

ADVEO’s logistics activity will be focused in Höver, becoming the new logistic pole in Germany, which the company says will guarantee a high level of service and promptness in delivery, while maximizing synergies in Europe that are adapted to the market evolution.
