Paperchase under pressure as insurers drop cover for suppliers
| 21 September, 2018
Stationery chain Paperchase is under pressure after credit insurers dropped cover for new suppliers following a fall in pre-tax profits of 88 percent.
“We are disappointed Euler Hermes has reduced credit insurance,” Paperchase told The Telegraph. “We don’t think it is fair and we think they should reverse it. There is no cash issue. We have been around for 50 years and plan to be for another 50.”
There are over 130 Paperchase stores in the UK, with over 30 sites across Ireland, the Netherlands, Denmark, France, Germany and the Middle East.
