| 16 April, 2019
On Monday April 15th 2019 manufacturer of office supplies, Jalema BV, took over Dataplus GmbH from Pfullendorf (DE).
Dataplus is a big player in the field of printed and unprinted office supplies in the German Market. With this takeover Jalema continues the existing production lines of Dataplus and says the organization looks forward to the future with confidence!
With this acquisition, Jalema’s assortment expands considerably. Director Joan Westendorff is proud of this acquisition: “The beauty of Dataplus is the fact that we are not only expanding our machine park and range, but are also going to serve new markets. For example, Dataplus makes menus for catering establishments and printed PP products for golf courses, among other things.”
Dataplus is strong in the production of products made of polypropylene (PP). The collection includes folders, ring binders, adhesive folders and collection boxes in various shapes and sizes. In addition, Dataplus frequently provides custom work for its customers.
The business activities of Dataplus are entirely taken over by Jalema. This means that the entire machine park will be moved to Reuver (NL) in the coming weeks. The layout of the factories in Reuver is being overhauled, so that the production apparatus can be allocated as effectively as possible. This takeover has a positive effect on the production possibilities of Jalema. The takeover of Dataplus means a considerable increase of Jalema’s client base in the Netherlands and abroad.
Once the machine park has been moved to Reuver, the poduction will be started as soon as possible. Jalema tries to make the transition as smooth as possible for the existing customers of Dataplus.
