COLOP has taken another important expansion step with the recent acquisition of the "Arts & Crafts" division of the Belgian-Dutch company RoyalPosthumus.

Headquartered in Wels, Austria, COLOP is one of the world's leading manufacturers of modern marking devices and delivers products to more than 120 countries. The acquisition marks its entry into the trendy creative, gift and hobby sector with stamp products.

With the newly formed company, COLOP Arts & Crafts - now one of more than 15 affiliated companies within the COLOP Group - a new, international business field is opened up which aims directly at modern end customers and retail chains. In addition to the classic and digital stamp segment, this area is now a further business area in which COLOP operates.

"The creative area of stamp products has a huge potential. We will strongly expand this area with product innovations worldwide," say Ernst Faber, CEO, COLOP.

The creative sector enjoys great popularity among many countries. Also in Austria, there is a growing interest in gift and craft articles. Whether for creating invitations or reminders for birthdays, Christmas, weddings or other celebrations as well as the designing of gifts, the appealing high-quality stamp products enjoy great popularity. With its international distribution network and know-how in product development, COLOP has set itself the goal of establishing the Arts & Crafts sector worldwide.
