Decline in sales for Pelikan Germany
| 04 September, 2019
Stationery manufacturer Pelikan International has reported a decline in sales in Germany, which is its largest market.
Pelikan International reported a decline in second quarter sales of more than nine percent compared to the previous year. This was due to lower sales of distributors and supermarket customers, currency effects and the sale of an IT business unit.
Germany, which accounts for 56 percent of sales, reported a decline in sales of more than ten percent to around 300 million Malaysian ringgit (64.9 million euros) for the first half of the year.
